Beschrijving
Merkel Alchem is gemaakt van pure PTFE-garens en is bovendien geïmpregneerd met PTFE. Dit garandeert een uitstekende chemische bestendigheid. De hoge dwarsdoorsnededichtheid en de strakke vlechtstructuur zorgen voor een zeer goed afdichtingsgedrag. De pakking heeft een goede vormstabiliteit en een laag krimpgedrag. Alchem is dus ook zeer geschikt voor plunjerpompen. Een speciaal type, Merkel Alchem ST, is beschikbaar voor gasvormige zuurstof, drinkwater en voor de voedselverwerkende industrie.
